There’s so much variety on the menu that deciding what to order is a dilemma I’m happy to have, each time I visit. I only wish the space were a little more expansive.
The pastries taste as amazing as they look and I was so suprised at how good the prices were ! Even their coffee tastes like quality. Their staff was friendly and super efficient despite the rush of customers. I just fell in love woth this café and I hope this review convinces you to try it !

I’m sure everybody who comes here understands this but this is an incredible place. Very good food and treats. Amazing croissants. The coffee is fantastic, but there was a lineup of people and we were done within a couple of minutes. As you walk in everybody that works there asks who would you like to order and you order it they give you a little token and then you stay in the lineup and you get to the cashier with that token you pay and everything is ready now that’s how it should be run. Why isn’t every restaurant of this type, using the same system. Just unbelievably excellent.
Breka Bakery & Cafe on Fraser Street is a true standout in Vancouver's cafe landscape. As soon as you walk in, the lively atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel at home. No matter what time of day or night, the service is always quick and efficient, which is a huge bonus for a café that's open 24/7. It's clear that the team here takes pride in what they do, and it shows. The baked SANDWICHES are consistently high-quality. Besides their pastries are just add on, always fresh and delicious with the right balance of texture and flavor. The variety is impressive, there’s always something best to try whether you’re craving for dine out or takeout. The coffee is also a standout, brewed perfectly every time. I happened to nearly visit all of their locations at least once, but this one feels particularly special for the way it vibes at all times. The staff handles the busy pace with grace while making sure each customer feels valued. The speed of service never compromises the quality of the food or experience. Breka really sets the standard for what a great local cafe should be. Keep up the fantastic work, guys!
I ordered my daughter's birthday cake from here - strawberry shortcake and it was good that everybody was craving for more. Staff was friendly and courteous. They told me you cannot customize cake so you have to choose a flavor they have on menu and also for larger cake size make an order three day in advance. We were traveling from Toronto so it was our first visit to this place.

An affordable spot for both bakery items and drinks. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, even when it’s busy — which is pretty much all day!
What a beautiful little bakery. The selection was out of this world. The coffee was delicious. And OMG the apple fritter, chocolate eclair and Copenhagen was fabulous.
We stopped by for breakfast today at Breka. We had a great experience with the food and service there. Even though the staff was unable to understand at first that we wanted to fine in, they eventually made our experience pleasant. We ordered a Grilled Cheese sandwich and their bestseller - BACON & CHICKEN PANINI on Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough. Additionally we ordered a Chocolate Mousse cake, a latte and a white chocolate and raspberry mocha. We had an excellent time there. The sandwiches were great and the bakery is always busy providing a rich variety of desserts and beverages.
